A new Pew study shows that the internet continues to make slow but steady progress toward eclipsing television as the country’s main source of news. But in the case of young people (8-29 year olds) the web is already top-dog.
HootSuite Hits One Million Users!
Since December 2008, HootSuite has grown from a modest in house tool into a global community of social media savvy professionals, agencies and enthusiasts.
Incidentally, the one millionth person to sign up is from A Coruña, Galicia, Spain, and came on board at 11:24:15:42 today.
HootSuite celebrated by launching an impromptu contest to let people guess when the millionth user would come onboard. The winner, @kelkel926 from Charlottesville, VA, got a brand new iPad for her winning guess.
